Steps for Learning - Activity Two: Mozart Mural
The purpose of this activity is for students to synthesize what they have learned to create a mural comparing life in the past and life in the present.
1. Divide the class into small groups. Tell the students that they are going to create a class mural comparing their lives to Little Amadeus’ life. Encourage the students to use their Venn diagrams as inspiration for the mural.
Provide the students with large pieces of paper to construct the mural, and an assortment of art supplies.
2. Have each small group present its section of the mural to the entire class, highlighting the differences and similarities between life in the past and life today. If possible, invite others in the school and community to view the mural.
