Episode description
Devilius maliciously spreads the rumor that all Amadeus' wonderful compositions were in fact written by his father, Leopold Mozart. As a result, the Bishop organizes a competition in which Amadeus must compete against Devilius. Devilius has an herbalist mix a special ink that first makes Amadeus' composition invisible and then makes it disappear completely! Can Amadeus uncover Devilius' terrible plot before it's too late?

In this episode, a central musical role is played by the 1st Movement of the Serenade No. 13 “Eine kleine Nachtmusik“ in G Major KV 525, as the leitmotif for Amadeus himself. As the action develops, this motif returns several times – eight in all – played on several different instruments. The witch and her raven have as their leitmotif the aria „Königin der Nacht“ from„The Magic Flute“ KV 620. A further distinctive composition is the Clarinet Concerto in A Major KV 622, which Little Amadeus composed himself for the competition.
