- Four white cardboard boxes with one of the following questions written on the outside:
Who told the rumor? What was the rumor? Who heard the rumor next? How did the rumor end?
- Drawing paper, crayons, colored pencils
- An assortment of musical instruments. These may be items such as triangles, tambourines, cymbals, drums, recorders, etc., or teacher/student-created materials. For example, you can use plastic eggs, paper towel tubes, jars, or milk cartons filled with sand, beans, pebbles, or coins.
