In this episode, the Mozart family travels to Vienna. When they arrive in Passau at the river Donau, they have to take a ship instead of a coach. The trip from Salzburg to Vienna took several days at that time, as traveling was much more difficult and time consuming. Monti shows how people traveled in previous times.
