Lesson Plans
The Wunderkind Little Amadeus website features a wide variety of educational materials for classroom use. Interdisciplinary K-4 lesson plans are designed to help you integrate the series in your classroom. The central focus of the lesson plans is music. The lesson plans are designed to provide multiple entry points for diverse learning styles, and support best practices in the classroom environment.
Wunderkind Little Amadeus features fifteen lesson plans for students in grades K-4. Each episode in the series has a corresponding lesson plan. The lesson plans are comprehensive in scope and provide a variety of different ways for children to learn about music. Some of the initial lesson plans focus on introducing students to the characters in the series and to the historical context of Austria in the 18th century. Other lesson plans are more specifically tied to the episode content. Several lesson plans provide ways for students to use the Wunderkind Little Amadeus website music interactives (coming soon)
