Street Musicians
OVERVIEW: Musicians perform in diverse settings around the globe. In this lesson, students will explore how and where music is performed. They will also be introduced to the skill of reading and notating music.
OBJECTIVES:
Students will do the following:
- Brainstorm ideas about musical performances
- Listen to a story about street musicians
- View an episode of Wunderkind Little Amadeus
- Learn to read and notate music
- Contribute to large-group discussions
